**SOCIETY FOR PRAKRITJAN AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT** is a registered charitable society committed to holistic community development across India. Established with the vision of creating sustainable social impact, the organization works in the areas of education, healthcare, women empowerment, and rural development.The society focuses on achieving meaningful and measurable outcomes through targeted interventions and capacity-building programs. For the socio-economic and cultural development of the most backward and underprivileged sections of society, the **Society for Prakritjan & Rural Development (SPARD)** was established on 20 September 2006 and registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 as a non-governmental organization.The registered office of the organization is situated at Bidhanpally (Gaborkuli), P.O. T.B. Hospital, Block: Krishnagar-II, District Nadia, West Bengal. SPARD has also established its first urban branch office at Dum Dum in the district of North 24 Parganas, near Kolkata, which is actively functioning.The organization is dedicated to improving the standard of living of people living below the poverty line and members of various Self-Help Groups (SHGs). Through the implementation of various skill development and job-oriented training programmes, SPARD aims to enhance livelihood opportunities and promote sustainable income generation.All the efforts of SPARD are directed towards poverty alleviation, self-employment generation, and the overall socio-economic development of rural communities across West Bengal. The organization works with a strong commitment to empowering marginalized populations and enabling them to achieve self-reliance and a better quality of life.
